If you book three or more residential courses together, we will give you a 5% discount on the fees. (N.B. this 5% discount does not apply to courses for which a bursary has been agreed).

The Ammerdown Centre reserves the right to postpone or cancel courses, or to change the leader of a course in the event of illness or for any reason beyond its control. In the event of a postponement or a cancellation, payments made will be refunded or transferred, in accordance with the wish of the client.

Residential costs are inclusive of accommodation and food.

Most courses can be attended on a non-residential basis. Non-residents are charged two-thirds of the full fee, excluding accommodation and breakfst (unless otheriwse stated).

Accommodation will always be single occupancy unless otherwise requested. Linen and towels are provided.

Funding permitting, bursaries of up to a third of the full fee of any course is available for people on low income to a maximum of three courses per annum. Please note that current evidence of status will be required on application. All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence. Please contact the Centre for more information.

Course participants are welcome to extend their stay before or after their course, subject to availability. They will be given a 5% discount on our standard ‘Private Stays’ rates.

For residential courses are asked to pay an initial deposit of £65 per weekend courses and £85 per longer courses. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, except in the case of a course postponed or cancelled by Ammerdown.

Guests booking on a day course are asked to pay the full fee on booking. This payment is non-refundable and non-transferable, unless the course is cancelled by Ammerdown.

It is possible to make a provisional booking for a course. Ammerdown will hold the place for a maximum of 10 working days. If a deposit has not been received by then, the place will be released.

Final payment will be required 10 days prior to the start of the course. Once this final payment has been received it is non-refundable and non-transferable, except in the case of a course postponed or cancelled by Ammerdown. We suggest you consider taking out insurance to prtoect against cancellation.

We will do our best to cater for special diets at no extra charge, when notified in advance. We do reserve the right to apply a surcharge for diets considered by our kitchen to be highly complex.

Courses’ starting and finishing times vary. The timing of each course is indicated in the course’s description.

When a course starts earlier in the day, guest accomodation is available from 2pm of the same day.

When a course starts with supper on the first day, guests are welcome to arrive any time after 2pm.

Please note that, as we do not have a night porter, guests are asked to arrive no later than 9pm unless they have made prior arrangements with us.
