Our Christmas Houseparty is always popular. People simply seem to love spending Christmas at Ammerdown, and we do our utmost to ensure they have a good time, while reflecting on the Christmas story and the effectivness on our own spiritual journey. In line with the ecumenical ethos of Ammerdown, we have a ‘Midnight’ Anglican service on Christmas Eve and a Roman Catholic Mass on Christmas morning, together with daily prayer Taize services and times of reflection and meditation. We also offer talks, fun activities, party games, crafts, walks, seasonal films and entertainment – as well as time to relax, enjoy each other’s company and sample one of our special Christmas cocktails. As for the food, suffice to say that we treat our guests to a feast of festive fare… So come and join us at Ammerdown for a Christmas to remember.
