"I(Jesus) came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance, to the full, until it overflows." (John: 10 v 10)
This weekend will be a chance to reflect on ways in which we can move into a greater sense of living out of the fullness and abundance in our lives. We shall consider aspects such as rest, stillness and silence, the restoring power of creation, gratitude, and the reality of the deep love God has for each of us in our uniqueness, both in our struggles and our joys.
Our reflections will help us find a personal answer to the question, "How can I live in greater measure out of the fullness and abundance in my own life?"
Libby Dobson and Sarah Chabowska will be combining their gifts as composer and musician (Libby) and poet and photographer (Sarah) to accompany you on this journey. The weekend will include:
• Original music and song
• Art work and visual images
• Poetry
• Guided reflections
• Scripture
• Use of Art Room (optional)
• Opportunity for one-to-one sessions
• Personal space to relax and reflect
• Beautiful surroundings
• Times of prayer
Libby has been writing and performing contemplative songs for many years, and has recorded various CDs. Sarah has been involved in leading prayer and meditation in a wide variety of contexts and has been writing poetry over a long period of time. They are both trained in spiritual accompaniment and have produced a CD together (PEACE) which includes a selection of songs and poetry to aid prayer and contemplation.
Libby and Sarah have led previous weekends at Ammerdown, which have been much appreciated. "Libby and Sarah are so talented." "They truly surpassed themselves this weekend." "They offered beauty and created a feeling of healing and happiness which will hopefully stay with me long after the course." (Participants 2016)
