Service in Sion Programme

We invite you to share in our ministry worldwide, as a volunteer in the Service in Sion Programme.

The Service in Sion programme is an opportunity for you to offer your time, skills, and talents in helping others in another country. The volunteering contribution varies between locations, but wherever you go, sharing differences in a new cultural setting can be a highly enriching experience, especially for people who are keen to get involved in supporting community activities.

 

Volunteering activities

Typical involvement could include:

  • After-school programmes
  • Social projects
  • Parish ministries
  • Jewish-Christian and interfaith work
  • Hospitality and welcoming

Personal characteristics

You consider yourself:

  • Respectful and responsible
  • Adaptable – comfortable in new situations
  • Willing to get involved in the work
  • Flexible – ready to respond to needs

Most of our volunteering service plans run for three months. If you would like to stay with us for a shorter period, please mention this in your initial enquiry.
