Reflections from two of the Chapter delegates

We were happy to have had a free day to visit the ghetto and other places  on our list of possibilities. 

Today, Monday, we begin the intensive process of surfacing possible leadership candidates.  The afternoon begin with a ritual of calling people to personal discernment.  The whole chapter began a long period of prayer with common readings and reflection questions.  The Spirit of “Ruah” is in our midst.

O que o Senhor está nos pedindo hoje?

- Caminhar com a justiça e com a misericórdia.

- Guardar o equilíbrio entre praticar a justiça e gostar do amor.

Após a leitura do texto de Miquéias, partilhamos em pequenos grupos a compreensão do texto e a aplicação para a nossa vida.

O canto ˝Ubi Caritas....”  nos inspirou na continuidade do processo de discernimento.

Dando prosseguimento aos trabalhos, fomos orientadas para rezar e refletir com os seguintes textos bíblicos : Jo 4,5-30 ;  I Reis 3,5. 9-14 ;  Romanos 12,2  ;  1 Samuel 3, 1-21.

Assim terminamos o dia com momentos prolongados de oração.
