151 años en Inglaterra (en inglés)15/02/2011: United Kingdom
It is 151 since the Sisters of Our Lady of Sion arrived in England. The first group of Sisters arrived in England from Paris in March 1860 at the request of Cardinal Manning. Sisters Brenda Dorrian and Teresa Brittain (pictured) had an informal celebration at their house in Prestwich to mark the anniversary. The evening started with a DVD of the work of the community, and was followed by prayer, before a buffet capped the occasion. Congratulations to the Sisters, and may their work among the Jewish community at home and abroad bear much fruit. The sisters are currently based in England, Australia, the Philippines, the Americas and many countries in Europe. ________________ Thursday, 03 February 2011
